I am instructed to engage the services of a trained hospital warder for employment in the Gaol Hospital.
2. I consider that two such trained hospital attendants will be ultimately required, but for the present the services of Warder Flores, who, though without special training, has for some years satisfactorily performed the duties of hospital warder, may be retained in that capacity. In the event of Mr. Flores retiring from the service I shall recommend the engagement of a second trained attendant.
3. I enclose the necessary paper of particulars regarding the proposed appointment.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your Most Obedient Humble Servant,
William Robinson
